Rent one of our fun Luv Bugs for only R1250 per day
The rental period is calculated from Collection Day (day 1) to Return Day
Payment is taken upfront on this website and deposit is held on your credit card at time of collection.

Luv Bugs is situated in the beautiful city of Cape Town and operates in the suburb of Camps Bay.
On your Collection Day you will find your bug ready and waiting with one of our team member to get you all signed in and ready to roll!

The Luv Bugs office is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily
Our team are always available online to assist with any queries and bookings, even after hours.

Collection and Return days are Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-5:00pm in Camps Bay.

Our classic beach buggys can accommodate 2 adults comfortably and potentially 1-2 children in the rear OR 1 adult in the rear.

• A valid South African or foreign drivers licence
• A valid South African ID or other passport document
• The rentee must be over the age of 21 years
• Payment upfront for the rental period - done online
• Physical signature on collection day of Indemnity & Terms & Conditions
• R10 000 insurance excess deposit via Credit card pre auth on collection day.
• Cancellations must be made 7+ days prior to collection day.
• Bad weather can result in a re-scheduled booking

The deposit for Insurance is R10 000.
On your Collection Day, our team representative will have paper work for you to sign which includes:

• Terms & Conditions
• Indemnity form
• Credit Card hold for deposit

1. Please treat our bugs with care
2. Please drive carefully on the Cape Town roads, adhering to all local traffic laws
3. Please park in safe areas & tip the car guard to watch your vehicle
4. Please refuel the bug before the tank is totally empty
5. Please avoid dirt roads, potholes & uneven pavements
6. Use the small lockbox to store items of value but please be aware that this box is not foolproof and Luv Bugs takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
7. Any damages will be paid for from the insurance deposit on your credit card

Yes, our beach buggies are designed for fun, relaxed cruising and are generally safe to drive. However, the safety of your ride ultimately depends on how you drive. We ask that all drivers operate the buggy responsibly, adhering to local traffic laws and speed limits. Please remember that the buggy is intended for leisurely exploration and should be driven at a slow, controlled speed for your safety and enjoyment. Always be mindful of your surroundings and drive with caution.

On your Collection Day you need to bring :

We also suggest a hat, sunscreen, windbreaker or change of clothes + swim gear for the beach.
